Video production
How do you showcase the unique properties of Swedish steel? By traveling to Austria and meeting Gsodam, an innovative manufacturer of vehicles for timber transportation – and SSAB’s customer – who have realized the full potential of steel.
SSAB is the largest manufacturer of steel in the Nordic region – but how are its products actually used? Spoon was asked to create content that would explain how SSAB’s current and potential customers can use its products and services to increase competitiveness.
There are almost endless applications for steel and SSAB supplies practically all industries. Among its customers are manufacturers of truck beds and agricultural machinery, as well as bridge builders and timber trailers.
We wanted to create engaging and illustrative content that demonstrated steel’s many innovative applications and possibilities. The best way to do this was through film. With the help of moving images, we could clearly show and explain how SSAB’s customer Gsodam, which manufactures timber transport vehicles in Austria, succeeded in building lighter trailers with increased load capacity, thanks to the unique properties of SSAB’s steel. The film was complemented with an article and images.
In addition to the article and video, shorter clips were edited for distribution on social media. Across all platforms, the story of Gsodam has received significant attention. As further proof that the video was well received, SSAB also commissioned us to translate it into seven additional languages – more than ever before.
"Collaborating with Spoon went smoothly: the production team worked independently and efficiently, and we were well-informed about the status during the process. The final result was excellent, which allowed us to gain visibility in the collaborations we do with our customers. We could simultaneously inspire and educate both current and potential customers."
